Dannon Oikos Triple Zero Greek Yogurt flavors have no added sugars, no artificial sweeteners and no fat. That’s definitely enough to warrant a review here at Supermarket Eats, and so we picked up a few different flavors to try out. This review is for the Apple Cinnamon variety.
I have to say that the black color made this yogurt stand out among the rest. And hey – it’s the official yogurt of the NFL (which it says on the lid) … this doesn’t mean anything to me but since Cam Newton stars in the commercials, and I’m a Cam Newton fan AND I went to his alma mater, Auburn University … well, this yogurt has me written all over it.
✻ Taste & Texture
My first thought was – it’s sweet! A little too much for me. And since this is a blended yogurt, you won’t find any fruit pieces – which is also a bummer for me – but hey, you might like your yogurt like that. The apple flavor seemed to be overpowered by the sweetness and I’d have to say this is definitely not my favorite flavor to eat straight from the container. What I did LOVE using this yogurt for, was to substitute for a banana in my smoothies – I get protein, added thickness, a smooth creamy texture and some sweetness too.
✻ Serving Size and Nutritionals

So why is it so sweet with only 6 grams of sugars? … that would be the Stevia Leaf Extract (which is not an “artificial sweetener” but the extraction process
✻ Price / Worth It?
I bought a 5.3 ounce (150 gram) container of Dannon Oikos Triple Zero Apple Cinnamon Greek Yogurt while I was in Boston for $1.00. I wasn’t in love with this flavor, but I’d buy it again.
